| December 25, 2005 | | New courts availble for play | The Brookshire badminton program ,which has been playing on two Racquetball courts since started in Sept of 2004 has acquired time at the new Wa-Ka-Hatchee Recreation Center starting December 16th 2005. Only one night a week is currently available Fridays from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A minimum of three (max five) courts will be available depending on turnout. To get to recration center take Exit 131 off I75, go West on Danials Parkway,turn left (South) on Six Mile Cypress, continue across US 41(Cleveland ) on to Gadious; continue West untill you come to Summerlin;go South (left) on Summerlin and cross Bass Rd; take next left int Lexington Middle School, Recreation area is in rear of school.
