Badminton Sr Championshps to be played on Dec 3 2006

SW Florida</place /> Lee County will host the Florida State Senior Games Championship’s December 2 to10th 2006Senior Badminton Players (age 50 to 90) from all counties in <state /><place />Florida</place /></state />, who have qualified to compete in the 2006 State Championship Games, will travel to the <place /><placetype />Ft.</placetype /> <placename />Myers</placename /></place /> area to compete for the Gold Medal in their sport..Of the many sports offered, Badminton Singles, Doubled & Mixed Doubles will be held on <date month="12" day="3" year="2006" />Sunday, Dec 3rd 2006</date /> in the new <place /><placename />Lee</placename /> <placename />County</placename /> <placename />Rec.</placename /></place /> facility, called <place /><placename />Estero</placename /> <placename />Community</placename /> <placetype />Park</placetype /></place />. This facility is located at 9200 Corkscrew Pals Blvd, just off of Corkscrew. Singles competition begins at <time hour="9" minute="0" />9AM</time />, Doubles begins at <time hour="14" minute="0" />2PM</time />The top three players, in each division and age bracket will be eligible to represent the State of <state /><place />Florida</place /></state /> and compete in the National Sr. Games to be held in <place /><city />Louisville</city />, <state />KY</state /></place /> in June of 2007.  If you would like to see some active seniors compete in this fast sport plan to attend the competition on Sunday from <time hour="9" minute="0" />9 AM</time /> to finish.  There is no charge and you can get a chance to visit the new <place /><placename />Lee</placename /> <placename />County</placename /> <placename />Rec.</placename /></place /> facility which is the Headquarters for all the Senior games.
