        <Description>The Florida Sports Foundation in Tallahassee have hired the &lt;strong&gt;Dixie Strollers of Ft Myers&lt;/strong&gt; to Lead the Parade of Senior Champions on Dec 8th into the City of Palms Red Sox Stadium. The parade will start at 5 PM. Cost of admission is $7 and includes a meal. This a party for all the seniors who have participated in the State games which are hosted by Lee County. Over 2000 visitors are expected to to spend time in FT Myers between Dec 2 and Dec 10th either watching or competing in 20 sports. The Dixie Stroller are honored to play for such a distinguished group of active seniors. The manager of the Strollers,&amp;nbsp;Gerry French, just happens to one of the competing athaletes&amp;nbsp;as the current 2005 Gold Medal State Champion in the 75-79 age group&amp;nbsp;for&amp;nbsp;Racquetball, Badminton. He also is playing in the new sport sweeping the county called Pickleball again in the &amp;nbsp;75 to 79 age group.</Description>
